Hi, I’m Natalie, the creator and owner of The Power to Begin Again. I’m a Reiki Grandmaster, Angel Card Reader, Crystal Energy Guide, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) Level 2 Practitioner, and the designer of Reiki Infused Crystal Jewellery. As a coach, I guide people through times of change, helping them connect with their intuition, align with their path, and rediscover their purpose.
I decided to start this blog after hearing from others that I’m a natural writer and realizing I have so much more to share than Instagram captions allow. Here, I’ll dive deeper into my spiritual practices, the tools and insights that have supported my healing journey, and the experiences that inspire me every day.
A bit about me: I always dreamed of working in the fashion industry and began my career at 25 as a sales associate at Hermès. Over 17 years, I worked my way up to become the Vice President of Commercial Activities for Hermès Canada, overseeing four stores and an e-commerce business. While I loved the work, the COVID-19 pandemic led me to reevaluate my life. I felt a deep call to explore healing and spirituality, which guided me toward Reiki and a new path.
Leaving my corporate career was both terrifying and exhilarating. With the help of a coach, I worked through the fear and uncertainty, embracing a completely new life. It’s been a challenging yet fulfilling journey, one that continues to evolve. I believe purpose and passion are not static—they grow and shift as we do.
I’ve faced my share of struggles: my mother’s battle with cancer, which she lost when I was 27; navigating adult life without her guidance; and healing from trauma, including sexual assault at 13. I’ve experienced love and loss, including a broken engagement and a miscarriage. At 45 (46 in a couple weeks), I’ve come to terms with not becoming a biological mother, but I find joy in being a dog mom to Loki, my Dachshund-Chihuahua mix.

Now, I’m living in Mexico for the next six months, embarking on yet another new chapter. I recently listed my Toronto condo on Airbnb, giving myself space to rest, recharge, and reflect. Change has never been easy, but it’s always been worth it because it allows my soul to grow.
This blog is a space where I’ll share my journey—the good, the challenging, and everything in between. I hope my words inspire you to embrace your own evolution, even when it feels difficult.
