It’s Written in the Stars: Astrology Your Cosmic Blueprint

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo has me reflecting on how astrology has deeply influenced my life and business. It’s more than just a tool, it’s a roadmap that helps us understand ourselves and others on a soul level. Astrology provides a unique lens through which we can explore our inner world, relationships, and life’s purpose. It’s a system that constantly guides us toward greater clarity and self-awareness.

Astrology is more than just knowing your Sun sign, it’s an intricate system that reveals our strengths, challenges, and purpose. Your birth chart is like a map of your soul’s journey. In astrology, each part of your chart speaks to different aspects of who you are. The Sun sign represents your outward personality, your public life, and how others perceive you. It’s the energy you radiate into the world, the mask you wear when you interact with others, and how you express yourself. The Moon sign, on the other hand, reflects your inner world, who you are at a soul level, when no one else is watching. It’s your true self, the part of you that shows up in your most intimate moments, and how you find emotional comfort. Your Rising sign (Ascendant) is how others initially see you. It’s the first impression you make and the approach you take to life’s challenges. The Ascendant is considered the gateway to your life path and how you face the world.

This is why I love astrology so much, it provides a roadmap for growth, helping us lean into our strengths while also working through the areas where we may feel stuck. Understanding your chart gives you insight into why you think, feel, and act the way you do. It can also help you navigate relationships, career choices, and life transitions with greater clarity

As we enter eclipse season, these cosmic shifts offer us opportunities for transformation. The lunar eclipse today invites us to look inward, release what no longer serves us, and embrace a new chapter. The solar eclipse (coming soon) will reflect external changes, pushing us to take action and step into the next phase of our journey.

Astrology isn’t just about predicting the future—it’s a tool for self-reflection, self-awareness, and transformation. Every planet and placement in your chart offers both challenges and potential. Some placements highlight areas where you naturally excel, while others reveal lessons you are here to master through effort and perseverance.

Astrology can provide deep insight into relationships and soul connections

One of the most fascinating realizations I’ve had is about my sister and me. My Sun sign is Capricorn, and my Rising sign is Sagittarius, while her Sun sign is Sagittarius, and her Rising sign is Capricorn. When I discovered this, it validated something I had always felt intuitively—we are incredibly different, yet deeply connected, like two sides of the same coin.

This unique mirroring in our charts creates a cosmic reflection that fosters balance, understanding, and a profound soul connection. Capricorn and Sagittarius have very different approaches to life—Capricorn is structured, disciplined, and grounded, while Sagittarius is adventurous, free-spirited, and ever-seeking expansion. Yet, rather than clashing, our reversed placements seem to complement each other perfectly, reinforcing both growth and mutual respect.

It’s as if we are meant to balance each other’s energies, bringing out different aspects of ourselves while also feeling a deep familiarity that transcends surface-level personality differences. This connection feels soulmate-like, as though it goes beyond this lifetime, possibly tied to a karmic or past-life contract where we were meant to support, challenge, and learn from one another. Whether through elemental balance, astrological design, or a greater spiritual purpose, our relationship is built on both contrast and harmony, allowing us to truly see, understand, and evolve with one another in a way that feels written in the stars.

Astrology has also revealed patterns in my romantic relationships. I’m a Taurus Moon, and almost every long-term relationship I’ve had has been with Taurus Suns. I don’t always know their Moon or Rising signs, but I find it fascinating that I keep being drawn to Taurus energy.

This makes perfect sense astrologically, my Taurus Moon craves stability, loyalty, and deep emotional connection, and Taurus Suns naturally embody these traits. Both Capricorn and Taurus are Earth signs, valuing practicality, commitment, and reliability, which explains the natural compatibility. While my Sagittarius Rising seeks adventure and freedom, Taurus provides the steady foundation that my Capricorn and Taurus placements appreciate. It’s incredible how astrology can reveal these recurring patterns and help us understand why we are drawn to certain energies.

Your North & South Nodes: What You’re Here to Learn in This Lifetime

Another area where astrology has been a guiding force is my spirituality and life purpose. The nodes of your birth chart tell a story of your destiny (North Node) and your past lives (South Node), showing us what we need to learn in this lifetime and what we can release from past lifetimes.

Right now, the North Node is in Pisces and the South Node is in Virgo, marking a nodal reversal for me. This astrological alignment represents a powerful opportunity to heal past patterns (linked to the South Node) and move forward into new growth and possibilities (aligned with the North Node). This is a moment for me to reflect on my past lessons while embracing the future lessons awaiting me, making this time feel especially significant on a personal and spiritual level.

Even the planets and houses in your chart have deeper meanings. I have Saturn and my North Node in Virgo in my 9th house, which governs higher learning, philosophy, and spiritual growth (probably why this Virgo Full Moon Solar Eclipse has me so reflective). Having Saturn here suggests that part of my purpose is teaching, mentoring, or guiding others, whether through coaching, writing, or healing work. It hasn’t always been an easy path, but astrology reminds me that Saturn brings mastery through challenges. The obstacles I’ve faced in this area were never meant to deter me but to help me grow into the teacher and healer I’m meant to become. (When I read this, I was shocked, after many years, this is the path I am on. It cements why I felt so called to do this work!)

This year, as the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo illuminates the night sky, I am reminded of how far I’ve come in my own journey. I continue to grow and evolve through astrology.

As we experience this powerful lunar eclipse, I encourage you to look at your own chart, your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs, your North and South Nodes, to gain deeper insights into who you are and where you’re headed. There’s always room for growth and self-reflection, and astrology is a beautiful tool to help us align with our soul’s purpose.
